Christian Philosophy of Education:
Since we are created in Christ’s image, I focus on the importance of physical activity in order to take care of our bodies. I seek to create an open environment where students feel comfortable to take risks and build relationships. Students should feel proud of their accomplishments when I set high expectations for them. Sporting events are a great avenue to bear witness to others with our Christ-like behavior. Positive character traits such as sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork and self-discipline are emphasized that carry over to many other areas of life. Students will realize that exercise can be fun and exciting while also recognizing the importance of physical activity in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
